Older children planning 3 hours is fine. 4.) Weather: in case of bad weather if your activities are planned outside, be sure to have your inside backup plans in place. 5.) Safety: be sure to plan a safe, comfortable place for all the children invited to have fun. And so they will not hurt themselves or your house. 6.) Let him or her make suggestions for the games, help to fill the party bags, and help with the decorations. As well as set the table, and mail the invitations, even if it is as simple as walking with you to the mailbox or just running around while you do the majority of the work, you will find they will enjoy there party so much more when they were able to help with it.
